Sorted provides support for men and women in recovery on board our canal boat, Panacea. Our service supports people who are looking for activities and direction following treatment.
Peer support is available as members of our team have lived experience of recovery.
Group and one to one meetings are available and we provide a unique experience on board in a peaceful setting on the
Union Canal. Panacea is purpose built, modern and fully accessible. We provide training and volunteering opportunities with a focus
on becoming a crew member on board Panacea. We are a recognised RYA Training Centre. (Royal Yachting Association) We also help to take care of the canal and towpath with regular litter picking, looking after trees and shrubs and learning about how climate change is affecting our environment and what we can do to help. We take it in turns to make a big pot of soup to share at lunch time and the kettle is always on. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, we are also providing additional telephone and Zoom meetings and access to online activities and opportunities. Our Facebook and Twitter pages are regularly updated.
We also provide (alcohol free)
Private boat hire for events / meetings / AGMs as this contributes to funding our work. Events are managed and hosted by our lived experinece crew.
