Venture Scotland offers young people aged 16-30, a 4 stage progressive personal development programme based in the outdoors, lasting up to a year, focused on helping to improve physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
The programme is group-based and involves meeting twice a week to participate in fun and challenging sessions that use the outdoor environment to help with personal development and growth. Activities include hill walking, orienteering, canoeing, gorge walking, coasteering and more.
In response to the pandemic, we have created a digital programme that shares the same goals as the outdoor programme. The Digital Challenge is two days each week and features an Etive Bothy Mystery that the participants solve by completing individual and team challenges. We will blend online programming with socially distanced outdoor sessions as restriction allow and of course, revert back to our full outdoor programme as soon as we are able to.
