2- 3.30pm Tuesday, A 4 week information and participation session focussing on the use of Diazepam. The following topics will be explored: • Tell me what you know (facts and myths) •Timeline (my use) • Physiological/ Sleep hygiene •Exploring Sleep and Memory problems • What do I want? (changes / barriers) • Next Steps (what have I learnt)
Ready Steady Change @ North East Recovery Hub

10 Week course supports individuals who are working on their recovery from addiction, and allows them to explore how addiction has affected them and how they can move their life forward. The subjects explored in this course support individuals to stay in recovery, and make further progress towards a substance free life. Topics covered:• Moving Into Recovery; • Triggers; • Goal Setting; • Exploring Boredom; • Understanding Anger; • Self Talk; • Drug Awareness & New Trends; • Anxiety and Stress; • Getting Motivated to Change; • Hopes and Fears; •Health and Wellbeing

Open to all, Women Only, Partnership meeting led by a worker from the North East Recovery hub in Leith, Monday 1.30-3pm. SMART Recovery (SMART) is a science-based programme to help people manage their recovery from any type of addictive behaviour. This includes addictive behaviour with substances such as alcohol, nicotine or drugs, or compulsive behaviours such as gambling, sex, eating, shopping, self-harming and so on.
