Memorial Service for Overdose Awareness Day

Published on 13th August 2024

Rainbow Recovery are hosting a memorial event on Saturday 31st August for those who have died of substance use. Anyone who has experienced this loss either as family, friend or Support worker, is very welcome to attend.

The event will help to raise awareness and remember those who have passed with love and respect.

There will be a tree dedicated to people who have passed and a commemorative plaque will be placed on it. This is a first in Edinburgh and there will be refreshments and cakes available, so please register your interest.

However, please don’t worry if you’ve not registered and still want to come on the day, you’ll still be very welcome.
